Bossdon Pee Fatal Shooting Syracuse, NY Death and Obituary: Always In Our Hearts
Syracuse residents are grappling with shock and fear after a fatal shooting on the city’s South Side Wednesday afternoon. The tragic incident, which left one man dead and a young boy injured, has raised concerns about growing violence and public safety in the area.
The shooting occurred shortly after 3 p.m. near the intersection of Warners and Webster avenues, just off South Salina Street. Witnesses described a harrowing scene as multiple gunshots rang out, sending nearby pedestrians and residents scrambling for safety. Emergency sirens soon filled the air as first responders rushed to the scene.
Authorities identified the victim as 39-year-old Bossdon Pee, who was struck in the upper body. Despite being transported to Upstate University Hospital for emergency care, Pee was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.
In a troubling turn, police also confirmed that a 10-year-old boy was injured in the crossfire. The child was grazed by a bullet in the leg and was treated at the hospital. Thankfully, the boy is expected to recover, and authorities believe he was not connected to the victim.
